Native to Brazil, Paraguay and northern Argentina, T. diaguitensis has stiff grayish green leaves. Although these plants bloom infrequently, when they do they bloom large white flowers with a light citrus scent. Prolific propagators and that will form clumps over time. For the best results keep your plant in a bright spot where it gets adequate air flow. Regular watering is recommended but they can take it a little drier. This Tillandsia is not very widespread in cultivation so it is one of the rarer air plants.
